The food was excellent, and everyone agreed the desserts were especially good. We came for Sunday lunch as a family of six, four adults and two children. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Our drinks order was taken and arrived quickly, and the food followed promptly once we ordered. Lovely surroundings, excellent service, and the best pub food I can remember having. Thanks to the amazing staff for a first-class experience. I expect you’ll be working very hard over the next few weeks, and I hope your customers appreciate you as much as we did. Happy Christmas to you all.

The pub has a lovely stonework interior and a little snug, and there’s a small campsite out back with 24/7 facilities and EHU. We had a fantastic stopover. Staff were welcoming, friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and helpful with me on crutches and disabled. The chef likes to sing lol. The food was excellent: my partner loved his Cornish Sole with a king prawn, cream and parsley sauce, new potatoes, and fresh veg, rating it 20 out of 10. I had nicely cooked gammon, which the dog wanted too. My partner finished with the Tiramasu. A great experience, and I’d recommend staying here.

The food was fresh, delicious, and served in generous portions. They even warm the plates so your meal stays hot. The pub interior felt cosy, the atmosphere was lovely, and there wasn’t any noisy music. The waiters were very kind and polite. Best dinner ever, go here and you won’t be disappointed.

They’re fine with muddy boots, and it’s dog friendly too. The staff are friendly and the food is great. That pie is absolutely awesome, to die for. I went back a couple of weeks later for another one, but was full, so I had to save it for another visit. Just love this place.

We turned up on a whim over the weekend and they fitted us in at very short notice. Everything was amazing. The barman was really friendly, and all the food we ordered from the bar menu was excellent, a mix of sandwiches and a burger. Prices were very reasonable too. Would definitely recommend.
