I’d read the reviews after booking and was expecting the place to be pretty poor, so I was skeptical. Then I checked in and saw the room. Wow, it was a really nice, spacious Junior suite with two sofas, a bed, TV, kitchen and bathroom. The heating worked, the windows opened, and the fan worked well. I had a really good stay. The location’s great too, about an 8 minute walk from Haymarket train station and tram stop. It’s also very close to Nam, a very nice Vietnamese restaurant, as noted in earlier reviews.

Really clean and peaceful at night. After a whole day walking around Edinburgh, I slept well. Highly recommend 👍.

Location is the only thing this place has going for it. We booked rooms for the start of our trip and the last two nights. The first room was okay, though small, hot and not very clean. We weren’t in it much, so we let that go. The last stay was awful. The room was tiny, so it was hard to even open the door, and incredibly hot. It was in the 50s outside at night but 90 in the room. The one sad little fan barely helped. I had to wedge toilet paper rolls into the window to keep it open and try to cool things down. We’ll never stay here again.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the room was quiet, clean and comfortable after a day out. It’s a short walk to Edinburgh’s main attractions, so the location worked really well. I’d definitely stay again.

Right in the heart of Edinburgh, with friendly and attentive staff throughout. My room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and it was spotless, cozy and quiet. The location is ideal for exploring the city. I’d happily come back and recommend the place.
