Rabble

We had a central base not far from the Old Town, and despite the busy bar downstairs our room stayed quiet. It was clean, with complimentary drinks, and the bar had fantastic cocktails and a great atmosphere. Brunch was delicious, though the service there ran a little slowly. They let us check in early and held our bags after checkout so we could avoid carrying them before our evening flight. The hot water initially wasn't working, but they had warned us and got it fixed, after which the shower was lovely. I'd recommend this hotel to young travellers or couples, and definitely for drinks.

The music gave the place a great feel, upbeat enough to dance to while still letting us chat and relax. The Saturday had a great DJ. I went to Rabble Edinburgh on a Friday and then again a few weeks later on Saturday, and both nights were fantastic. The whole bar felt welcoming from the moment we arrived, thanks in part to staff who were polite, friendly, and attentive without making us feel like a bother. The food was fresh, full of flavour, nicely presented, and there were loads of options for the money. Good wine and cocktail choices too, though I do think they need real Aperol on the menu! :) Warm, lively atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food. I'll definitely be back soon.

The music really made the atmosphere for me. Rabble in Edinburgh felt stylish and welcoming as soon as I walked in, and the staff stayed friendly and attentive while keeping things relaxed. Great food, drinks, and service in the heart of Edinburgh. I'd recommend it, and I'm already looking forward to going back.

The pork belly with mash was great, and the prices were decent. Service was good too. Friday night was PACKED, so I'd personally choose a quieter evening, even though it didn't ruin the meal. The DJ could ideally have been set a little farther from the dining area. The chicken wings starter was pretty flavourless. I'd definitely return on a less busy night.
