Voco Edinburgh - Haymarket

As a solo business traveller, I felt very safe here, and the staff were friendly. The bedroom was great, although the pillows were too soft for me. Breakfast was good, and I later found out there’s a full restaurant for evening meals, though I’d already booked elsewhere. I’d highly recommend The Palmerston. Really nice hotel, and I’ll definitely return.

The room was spacious and really comfortable, and we could easily walk into the city centre. We’ve just returned from a lovely weekend at Voco Haymarket in Edinburgh and will definitely come back on future trips. Staff were very helpful throughout. Calum at reception gave us a warm welcome and was helpful during our stay; Sajal also went the extra mile to make sure we had what we needed. Since it was my birthday, the greetings and offer of a complimentary drink of my choice made it feel special.

The staff and breakfast service were standouts. Most of the team were friendly and hospitable, and Anna made check-in and checkout especially easy. At breakfast, service stayed excellent even when it was busy, and the buffet was tasty and kept replenished. When I mentioned I’d missed out on the haggis because it ran out quickly, one of the staff brought a fresh plate to my table. I spent four nights at Voco Haymarket Edinburgh and wholeheartedly recommend it. The hotel is new, clean and well managed, and my spacious, comfortable top-floor room had a fantastic view toward the chapel. The location is convenient too, just a few minutes’ walk from Haymarket train station, major bus stops and the tram.

The beds were huge and ridiculously comfortable, and the duvet was sooo big too, lol. Room service was amazing, and the bar food was out of this world. Staff were so pleasant, helpful and nice, and check-in and checkout literally took seconds with no issues. They were really accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Thanks so much for having us.
