We’ve been staying at Kettle House twice a year for a while now, so I had to leave another review. Natalie and Mark are fantastic, and they’re always happy to help. Our dog Willow is made to feel just as welcome. It’s spotless, and the breakfast is simply the best. The centre of Fort Augustus is a short walk away, with plenty of places to eat, boat trips on Loch Ness, and pubs by the three lochs where you can sit outside and watch the world go by. Looking forward to our next two visits this year.

The owners are so kind and accommodating, and you can tell they’ve put their heart and soul into this quirky, character-filled B&B. Our room was cosy and immaculately clean, with cupcakes and a little fridge, a lovely bonus for keeping drinks cold. Breakfast had lots of tasty choices, and the garden was beautifully maintained, with quirky touches throughout. It’s a hidden gem in Fort Augustus Village, on the shores of Loch Ness, and just a short walk to the loch itself. We absolutely loved it! Not sure about the monster 😉

The bed was the most comfortable we’ve slept in since leaving home in Australia two weeks ago. The ensuite rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean, and the homemade fancy buns were a lovely touch. It’s a short walk to town, and staying here was a pleasure. I wish I’d brought my Bull Terriers from Oz, because it was lovely to see how dog friendly the place is.

Natalie gave us the warmest welcome, and little Lola Flores was made to feel right at home too. Natalie’s a true hostess and a big dog lover. The rooms were clean, warm and welcoming, with everything thought of, including an iron and hairdryer. None of that Four in a Bed rubbish! The gardens were magical, and Lola could roam happily. Great breakfast, and a lovely start to our Scotland tour. Couldn’t be bettered. Thank you so much. 5*.

We felt at home during our stay, thanks to Natalie, who was so friendly and welcoming. The room was tidy, clean and well organized, and she left cupcakes to welcome us, such a sweet touch. We loved the hot Scottish breakfast and already miss it. My dog enjoyed the stay too. There’s a nearby ⛳ club just a few minutes’ walk away, where dogs are allowed on lead as long as you clean up after them. Would highly recommend!
