King Of Prussia

The view is absolutely stunning, and the staff are so friendly and helpful that nothing seems too much trouble. Food is very good, and breakfast was nice. It was a bit odd that the full English didn't come with toast and marmalade, but I expect they'd have brought some if asked. Getting there is difficult if you're disabled or have trouble walking. The hotel is a long way from the town car park up a very steep hill. A town bus can take you to the car park when it's running. There are several deep stone steps at the entrance, no lift, and the rooms are upstairs, so you need to manage stairs. The walk up is rewarded with that view.

The roast was fabulous, with a nice mix of fresh vegetables and a very tasty dessert. We weren't impressed with the customer service from the person we think was the owner, though. The lovely girl helping with service made up for it somewhat, but then we noticed the 12.5% service charge was already on the bill. Not impressed!

The staff really made our two nights at the King of Prussia. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, from the lovely, always smiling woman doing the cleaning to the front of house lady. Breakfasts were lovely too. I'd recommend staying here without hesitation, and we'll definitely come back.

Teresa and her team gave us a fantastic stay. They were very friendly, focused on looking after customers, and provided great service. Nothing was too much trouble.
