I was really annoyed that the owners charged me an extra £100 for supposed extra cleaning. They said I'd left the place in a total mess, which I think was greatly exaggerated, and I believe the cleaning claim was a lie. They've completely ignored my complaints. The property had poor heating, a damp smell and mould. The kitchen wasn't well equipped, and there was no proper oven. The countertop oven was filthy and rusty. There were no smoke alarms, although the owners claimed there were. I believe that's illegal in a rented property. The location is lovely, but the owners were nasty. I'd book somewhere else.
