This is the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in, by a mile. The hotel is grand and extravagant, and it was a pleasure to experience. The staff matched the splendour. I enjoyed breakfast, and I hear the other food is just as good, though I’m here for work and my food budget is meagre. It won’t suit you if you’re after the cheapest option, but I think it’s good value, and you’re helping a fabulous building keep serving a purpose. Go and enjoy it.

I stayed Sunday Nov 16th 25, and honestly felt like I’d robbed them because I paid so much less than the place is worth. The building and room were brilliant, with everything I needed, including a massive bed for my daft long legs. The staff were exceptional, super friendly and helpful. Dinner was tasty, plentiful and well priced. Breakfast won me over with smoked salmon, egg and coffee. What a brilliant find. I’ll be back, thank you!

It’s a traditional style hotel, with comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. The menu isn’t huge, but the food is very good.

The food was excellent and the service team were friendly. I just wish breakfast could be served later than 9am.

We only came for a birthday meal, rather than staying overnight. Service was good, and the food arrived nice and hot. My steak was cooked perfectly.
