B&B HOTEL Inverness

The location was ideal, just a block from the bus station and a couple of blocks from the railway station and city shopping street. The front desk team were super friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, and it seemed the hotel had just been renovated, so everything felt new. I loved having a tea kettle and complimentary tea and coffee in the room. Highly recommended!

I went in unsure about this booking, but was pleasantly surprised and glad I chose it. The hotel is right in central Inverness, about two minutes from the bus station and car parks. Check-in was easy, and the two women covering reception, bar, restaurant and cleaning were always busy but pleasant whenever I asked something. There are five floors and two lifts. The hallways were quite dark, but fine. My room suited me, with enough space, plenty of sockets, a large TV and a desk where I did paperwork each night. There wasn't much of a view, but that didn't bother me. The bathroom was clean, with a large mirror, a regular shower on a riser rail and an overhead rain shower. Plenty of hot water. Wi-Fi was fine, though, like in most hotels, it was unprotected, so I needed a VPN. There was a kettle and a small selection of tea and coffee. The bed was soft but huge, and I slept well. The bar, reception and restaurant area was spacious, with lots of seating and large-screen TVs dotted around. Food was perfectly fine, with a decent menu at a good price. Would I stay again? Yes. I don't usually return to the same hotel, but I'd seriously consider this B & B Hotel if I'm back in Inverness. Happy customer.

The bed was very comfortable, the shower worked well, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel is good value for its quality and central location, and there's a nice bar. But the bar prices were a shock: pre-dinner drinks came to £94, which is why I'd rate the hotel 9 rather than 10. We had breakfast with relatives, so I can't comment on the hotel's breakfast.

Had a brilliant time. The staff were great, the rooms amazing, and it was excellent value, an absolute 10/10. We parked in the big parking block just around the corner. We'll be back.
