Hyatt Place Leeds

The studio rooms are spacious and come with a kitchen and sofa, much better than a standard hotel room. The finish is good, and the large TV swivels around. Beds are comfortable queen sizes, with an electric stove, microwave and the key utensils. Breakfast offers a tasty range, though avocado would be a good addition. There are two restaurants on site, including one on the top floor.

Ann checked us in quickly, and we had a lovely conversation. She also suggested some great local places, which made the visit even better. The hotel itself is beautiful and in an excellent location, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I couldn't have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Leeds.

The rooms are excellent, and we had a great view of the city. The location is good too. We've stayed before at Hyatt Place in the same building, and unfortunately breakfast has fallen short both times. The first visit was when the hotel was very new, so we thought the problems were just teething issues. Food is replaced very slowly, if at all, and tables are slow to be cleared, if they get cleared. There are only two coffee machines, and they need constant manual refilling and emptying, which leads to long queues. The hotel knows when breakfast gets busy and should schedule more staff.
