We had a lovely stay in the Family Queen Superior room. There was plenty of space for our little one, two good-sized beds, a sofa area, and everything was very clean. The only minor drawback was that the room had no outside window, though it didn’t bother us much since we were there for just one night and hardly spent time in it. The staff were so friendly at check-in, and they’d clearly heard about our recent engagement and the baby we’re expecting. They decorated the room and left treats, plus a card offering drinks. I didn’t even notice that part until we got home because I was so touched by the decorations and sweets. Such thoughtful care for a special occasion. Breakfast was really nice, and the location is great too. Hilton is our go-to for celebrations, so we’ll be back. Thanks so much, Lakshani, for everything you did!

The pasta at the hotel restaurant was really good, and I even made use of the gym during my one-night stay. My deluxe room was large, with comfortable bedding and great amenities. The cookie waiting on arrival was a nice touch, and room service was spot on. There was also a smart TV in the room. The staff were attentive and clearly well trained. They were kind, and offered me an upgrade because of my status. Breakfast had lots of options and everything was good. I had a really lovely experience.

The room felt small for what we paid, close to AUD $500 a night, and the bed and bedding weren’t as comfortable as we’d hoped. The location was convenient, and breakfast was decent, with a reasonable range of food, though nothing stood out. We were there as two adults with a child. The stay was acceptable, but it felt underwhelming for the price and not quite what we expected from a Hilton.

Getting to our scheduled play was quick because the Double Tree By Hilton - West End Hotel is so close to the West End Theater District. I’d gladly recommend it to travelers with disabilities or mobility challenges. There are ramps throughout, and the hotel was very accommodating to my needs. We spent seven days there the week of Christmas 2025, on my birthday trip to London from the USA. My disability room worked really well, especially the excellent roll-in shower. The refrigerator/cooler was already in the room, so I could keep my medication cool, which was very convenient. Everyone took great care of us. The front desk team was very welcoming and professional, and the bell staff and breakfast buffet wait staff were excellent and helpful with my disability needs. We ate in the hotel restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on several days, and every server we met was professional and welcoming. The food was beautifully prepared, five stars each time. I’d recommend the Fish & Chips with the mushy peas and the Vanilla Cheese Cake with the Fresh Fruit Compose. Both were delicious. A five-star stay.

Everything we needed was nearby, including cafes, shops, the British museum, and other attractions. We came for a short break before Christmas and the hotel felt welcoming and festive as soon as we arrived. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was lovely. We’d recommend staying here and would happily come back. ☺️
