We had a lovely, warm week-long stay in January at The Morgan hotel. We had two rooms, a kitchenette and bathroom, plus an outside terrace, which worked perfectly because my husband wanted more space than a standard hotel room. The location was amazing, with everything within walking distance. It’s an older building rather than a modern one, which gives it character. Breakfast was excellent. I’d highly recommend it, especially if you like a place with character.

The people made the stay stand out. They were warm and dedicated, and every interaction felt caring and attentive. We felt at home in the extremely comfortable, well-located apartment from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was fresh and enjoyable every time. Some parts of the building show their age, but the service, comfort and location more than made up for it. We’d happily return.

Breakfast was tasty, especially the vegetarian options, and the hotel was very clean. The location was excellent and the price felt like good value. My bedroom's decor wasn't anything special, but the cost made that easier to overlook. The rear-facing rooms were especially quiet. I'd happily recommend it and come back.

I spent seven nights in a suite. The room itself was alright, but the service was the real problem. The front desk man was rude, disrespectful, and obnoxious. A company offering a service shouldn't treat guests that terribly. There's no elevator either, which is a nightmare for tourists in a Victorian building. I'd advise staying elsewhere, there are better hotels.

The staff were friendly every time I stayed, and the breakfasts were lush. I was there for meetings at HQ, and always found the stay comfortable. Once I had a basement room with a tiled bathroom below pavement level. It reminded me a lot of some of the Underground stations, and I had a lovely, long soak in the quiet.
