Nadia is the reason I’ve stayed here so many times. She’s welcoming, remembers my name and favourite room, and makes check-in easy. Her care makes the hotel feel like a home away from home, and nothing seems too much trouble for her. It’s hard to find people this dedicated in hospitality these days. She deserves recognition for the way she goes above and beyond for guests. Thank you, Nadia.

I come here often to visit someone at ealing hospital, and I’ve had a mix of rooms, some better than others. The rooms are basic but have what you need for a short stay, though a few were dated or could have been cleaned better. The location works well, the staff have always been great and I’ve had no issues. Breakfast is good, but it could be hotter since it’s buffet style.

The room was unpleasant, and I even found a maggot crawling in the bed one day. After I asked for fresh towels, the room wasn’t vacuumed or restocked with hand wash and body wash. The rooms, including the bathrooms, are very small. You have to shut the bathroom door while showering so steam doesn’t set off the fire alarm, but there’s hardly any ventilation and it’s difficult to breathe. The hotel is a tiring 13-15 minute walk from the underground, depending on your pace, unless you take a bus. The reception team were friendly and willing to help, and they provide an iron and hair dryer at reception, but the stay was unpleasant.

The location is great, and the reception team are kind and lovely. I booked for a week and Nadia was especially friendly and kind. When my key stopped working, though, a supervisor didn’t help and told me to wait for the reception staff. I was left waiting more than 15 minutes. It wasn’t a good experience, but Nadia helped me afterwards and let me into my room.

I usually choose this hotel when I’m in London, and I tend to pick Travelodge in other cities too. The rooms have a predictable standard, so you know what to expect wherever you go. This one is often very affordable compared with other Travelodges in London, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Morri, Sebastian, Nadine and the others were great, though sorry if I’ve forgotten anyone’s name. There are loads of restaurants, shops and a tube station nearby. Ealing Broadway, a big public transport hub, is about ten minutes on foot or two bus stops if, like me, you’re feeling lazy. There’s also a large shopping centre with parking a few hundred metres away, as well as shops and the lovely shisha lounge Amiri.
