Disfrutar. The price didn’t feel justified. This lodge is run by private hosts, basically a converted house turned into a money-making operation. My attic room was drab and cold, and the heating only came on at a set time regardless of how cold it was at first. Hot drinks were available, at least. The stairs were steep and too narrow for your feet, with no lift, so they’re unsafe for older people or anyone carrying heavy luggage.

The place was clean and nice, with friendly people and a reasonable breakfast. It’s on a main road with a 20mph limit, so it was easy to find, and I could park out front in one of the five spaces. I’d return if I needed somewhere to stay in Surbiton.

I had a lovely, homely three-day stay at Warwick lodge. Everyone treated me well and was really helpful. The location also made it easy to get to good restaurants and the bus station.

Just one night, but it really felt like home. The host gave me a warm welcome and let me check in early. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Warwick Lodge Hotel in Surbiton is just what we wanted. The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean and tidy, and the staff were excellent. Frances especially made us feel welcome.
