The rooms aren't very soundproof, so you can hear people coming and going, but it wasn't a big issue. They're showing their age a bit, though still perfectly nice, and having a fridge and microwave meant we didn't have to go out. We accidentally left a stuffed toy in one of the rooms we'd booked, and the staff put it in another room for us. We really appreciated that.

We booked four nights at the beginning of the month for staff working nearby, but nobody stayed even one night. There was shouting and arguing in the corridors for much of the night, and one of our female staff called to say she felt unsafe. Someone banged on an apartment door to ask a worker staying there where the kitchen was. People hoovered upstairs at midnight, then music started blaring at 2 a.m. Our staff left at 4:30 a.m., and our office booked another local hotel. I'm still waiting to hear back from OYO about the stay. This is basically a hostel, not a hotel. I couldn't make this up. If someone from the hotel wants to discuss it, contact me and I'll provide evidence for this review. I hope it was just a one-off bad evening. If this is what happens regularly, management needs to get a grip on what's going on after hours.

There wasn't a kettle in the room to make a drink, and I couldn't use the TV without entering my phone number. The site manager wasn't helpful at all.

Good value for money in a nice location, with a decent pub just up the road. The bed was comfy and the shower was nice. It was clean-ish, but the onsite staff were such a great help that you can forgive that.
