Lynmouth is a beautiful seaside village with lots of walks, places to visit by car, and a good bus service. The B&B is brilliantly located over the river and close to the sea, with good parking too. The hosts are wonderfully hospitable, the rooms are lovely, and the food is tasty and plentiful. They also offer home-cooked evening meals on request. Those are good value and far better than anything you can buy elsewhere. This is the best B&B in the UK, and I very strongly recommend staying here.

The welcome was lovely, and our couple of days here were delightful. We had a large room looking over the river, with a huge bathroom. Breakfast was a treat, though maybe a little too much!

We had a great couple of days away from work at Lorna Doone House. The hosts were welcoming and gave us space. The location beside the river is lovely, with walks starting right outside. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a good hot shower, comfy bed, and all the towels included. There’s Wi-Fi throughout. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and superb, a great start to the day. Highly recommended.

I’ve just returned from a Monday-to-Friday break and would happily have stayed longer. The food was wonderful and varied, and Nicki also offers a packed lunch at a very reasonable price. The rooms were fresh, bright and airy. Nicki and Russell were excellent, friendly hosts who made every guest feel welcome and were happy to help with anything. The guest house is a very comfortable, tastefully decorated late Victorian or Edwardian hotel, set in a beautiful spot opposite the river. You can relax on the veranda, listen to the water and take in the atmosphere of this picturesque place. I’ll be back, hopefully later this summer. 10/10.

We spent a week here and would happily recommend it. Nicky & Russel made us feel so welcome, and the B&B has a lovely homely feel. Being right beside the river was lovely, especially listening to it at night. There are plenty of beautiful places to visit and walks nearby, and the locals are friendly too. A fantastic stay, well worth five stars. 👍✨️
