Just two minutes on foot from Terminal 2, and a shuttle from the hotel serves T1 and T4 for £4 per person, so the location worked well for our early flight. Our room was very clean, but tiny, like a prison cell. The bathroom was bigger than the sleeping area, with a hot shower, and the soundproofing was good enough that aircraft were only a faint rumble. The bed, though, was like a brick whichever way I lay, and I didn’t sleep. I managed a doze by lying on top of the pillows and duvet. The TV was out due to technical problems across the hotel, maybe they hadn’t paid the latest invoice 🙂. Staff were polite, but less friendly than at other hotels we’ve stayed in. We paid £13.50 for breakfast for the two of us. It was fresh continental food, though the options were limited. We wouldn’t stay again because we prefer a little more luxury. If you’re on a tight budget or don’t mind very basic rooms, it may be fine.

This is a handy place for an airport stopover, about a five-minute walk from Manchester Airport Terminal 2, and I’d use it again for an early or midday flight. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was good. Prices are above average, as you’d expect at an airport hotel. Rooms are clean and functional, but small. With two people in a double bed, one of us was squeezed against the wall, so a nighttime trip to the loo means shimmying out at the foot of the bed. There’s food in the vending machine for anyone arriving after 10pm.

We parked at Jetparks 1 and took its shuttle to Terminal 2, near the hotel. For an early flight from Manchester, this ibis is a really practical choice, and we'd happily stay again. Our room was small, though fine for a short visit. There were lots of seats and a good range of drinks downstairs, plus a microwave for anyone picking up food from M&S to eat at the hotel. We ate at the Holiday Inn across the road; it was packed and expensive, so next time we'd get something from M&S instead. The staff were busy but friendly and efficient. The English guy with glasses was especially helpful. When his colleagues at Reception were briefly distracted, he even paused his break to serve me at the bar.

The airport is only a 3-4 minute walk away, and you can get there through the Skylink from Manchester Airport railway station. That made the location really convenient. The rooms were fine for a short stay. The staff were kind, welcoming and friendly, and the service was very good. I'd definitely recommend it.
