The food was really good for the price, especially with the meal deal, and there was loads of free parking once you remember to register your number plate. The bed was comfortable, the shower decent and everything was spotless. Rimen deserves a mention for remembering our drinks order straight away and again the next evening, always with a smile and a lot of attention. Phone reception in the hotel was awful, though, and the free Wi-Fi was very slow.

I’ve been here for work for the last six months and have felt well looked after throughout. Beth, Tasha, Joe and Ammara, along with Rebin while he was here, all went out of their way to make me comfortable. I may have missed someone, but the whole team clearly puts in a lot of effort. Everyone has been welcoming, friendly and genuinely helpful since I first arrived. Their warmth and professionalism reflect well on Premier Inn, and I’d happily recommend this location. I’m looking forward to spending the next six months here. Thanks to the Marlborough team for making the long stay such a positive one.

The beds were super comfortable, and the room was really spacious. I also enjoyed a morning run up and around Marlborough, and the charity shops are great. We were glad to have a bath, though getting in and out could be difficult or unsafe for anyone with mobility problems. Our stay was fine, but the continental breakfast wasn’t great for the price, and the tea and coffee in the room were basic.

The rooms were cold, the meals were bad enough to make me ill, and the staff were drinking with their mate. This place could have been great, but it’s poor. It should have been a Beefeater. The owners need to sort it out quickly.

The site looks to be in decent shape and seems fairly recently built, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The TVs have HDMI, but they won’t play media from a USB drive, unlike most other Premier Inns. You’ll need a device that can connect through HDMI.
