Watersedge Guest House

We felt like family during our three-week vacation from the USA. Everyone was so friendly and helped us with anything we needed, from our rooms and towels to day trip suggestions and nearby restaurants. The breakfasts were delicious every morning. Thank you for making us feel at home!

I’ve stayed here a few times, and Sylv and Alan are always so welcoming and ready to help with anything. It felt like home. The place is very clean, the rooms are absolutely lovely, and I highly recommend this B&B.

We haven’t stayed at your hotel, but we watched you on 4 in a bed while planning a UK tour, and we’re definitely going to book with you. The location looks lovely, the rooms great, and the service remarkable and friendly. You seem like a lovely couple who treat guests as family. We do wish you hadn’t underpaid the other participants by such huge amounts, though. It made you come across as game players or cheats, and you would definitely have won without a doubt. We’re making an exception for you, as we don’t think you meant it and believe you were going by the feedback. Your guest house looks wonderful and homely, just what people are looking for. We’ll get in touch once we finish planning and have booked holidays at work. We’ll probably need three rooms for two days, so hope to see you very soon. Sam.

Our room was small but just right, with nicely made beds that were very comfortable. It was clean, as was the bathroom. We appreciated the little fridge and the fresh milk we were given on arrival for our morning coffee. There was also a coffee machine, tea, instant coffee and biscuits. Alan and Sylvie were wonderful hosts. From the moment we stepped through the Watersedge door, we felt welcome. Silvie explained everything and told us about the guesthouse. There’s an honesty bar where you can help yourself to drinks, a lovely conservatory for relaxing, a peaceful garden to enjoy good weather, and sea shore walks across the road. Breakfast had to be ordered the night before, and there was plenty of choice: English breakfast, continental options with warm croissants and Welsh pancakes, toast with jams, preserves, Nutella and honey, fruit and natural yogurts with fresh fruit, cereals, and orange and apple juice. I’m sure they’d provide something specific if asked. We had a lovely stay and would recommend Watersedge to anyone.
