The pub and the rest of the place looked nothing like the photos, and the whole property felt dirty. Our room was unclean, the carpets were disgusting, and the bin still had rubbish from the previous guests. The mattress had collapsed so badly we couldn't sleep on it. After a lot of discussion, we were eventually moved to another room. The staff were amenable and local patrons very friendly, but I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here.

The food is amazing, and the staff and locals are lovely. It's dog friendly, with two discounts that live on site. I didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms.

We popped in for Sunday lunch, but the vegan burgers had already sold out. The chef was happy to suggest a few things off the menu for my vegetarian wife, which was really helpful. My chicken burger was delicious, with proper pulled chicken, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Skye and Nikki were at the bar when I visited the George and horn, and they were such lovely, upbeat people. They were attentive too, and made the visit a great experience. Thanks, guys, I'll definitely be back x

The Pan Asian Cuisine was amazing, and the restaurant looked lovely, with fresh white tablecloths and sparkling cutlery. The manager had great energy and was friendly and helpful, and all the staff were a delight. The locals in the pub made us feel very welcome too, so I'd recommend the venue to everyone. It's a shame 'Jason' didn't give a true reflection and that fake reviews are left. Thank you, George & Horn.
