A warm, welcoming hotel with excellent facilities, and a great stay from beginning to end. James at reception was friendly and professional, so thanks to him. Nina in the Club Lounge deserves a special mention. She was warm and attentive, worked incredibly hard, and always went out of her way to make guests feel welcome. Her service made the stay so much more enjoyable, and she’s a real credit to the hotel. I’m looking forward to coming back.

I’ve been in Nottingham for work and have stayed at the Crowne plaza for the last 6 weeks. Matthew was especially kind and welcoming, and the rest of the staff were lovely too. Breakfast was good, and the team there were really kind as well. The rooms are a great size, and having a gym and pool was a nice bonus. I also tried the spa and had a back, neck and shoulder massage. I’d really recommend it.

We had a great stay at the Crowne Plaza Nottingham on the hottest day of the year. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice to find cold water in the fridge. It was so hot that we didn’t sleep much that night. Maria was really understanding and arranged a late checkout so we could rest. Housekeeping also quickly replaced our broken hair dryer. The location is excellent, about a 7-minute walk from the shopping mall. We’ll definitely stay again.

A good spot for visiting Plymouth, with generously sized rooms. Some show signs of wear and tear, and not every room has a walk in shower. The outside looks dated, and parking comes with a high daily charge. The restaurant is very good, and breakfast has a good range of options for different allergies. The pool is shallow, which makes swimming difficult for adults.

Nina in the club lounge was cheerful, helpful with city information, and looked after us so well. The room cleaner, I think her name was Norai, was just as lovely and attentive. The staff really made our stay, and we had a wonderful time despite the problems. The view from the 8th floor was fantastic, but the beds and pillows were uncomfortable and the hotel feels old. The lounge food was mediocre most of the time, though it was good on Good Friday, and we hope it stays that way over the weekend. Noise was a real issue. The doors squeaked whenever someone opened one and banged shut day and night, even when people weren't slamming them. Earplugs, as management recommended, didn't block it. The computers, including the one in the lounge, seemed to be out of service indefinitely, just sitting there like furniture.
