We had a comfortable night in September 2025. We arrived two hours before check-in, and the owner, Mr. Anthony, let us in straight away. Breakfast choices were limited, but just about adequate.

The location worked really well, with a little row of shops right next door for anything you might need. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast area was very cute, with hot food in the morning. Staff were friendly and helpful too. It felt like staying at a friend’s house. We were lucky to stay here, thank you for the hospitality 💛

They cancelled my booking at very short notice and gave no reason. I suspect greedy overbooking, though I can’t know for sure. I hadn’t read the other reviews before booking, but after the cancellation I found that this had happened to others too. If you want to put yourself through stress and make your trip a nightmare, go for it. I strongly recommend not even considering this place.

The service was excellent, and breakfast was tasty and filling. It’s a great place to stay in Oxford, close to the centre on a main road served by buses. All the basic amenities were there too.

We stayed one night with my husband and our two kids, a five-month-old baby and a two-year-old. The room was clean, and the customer service was very good. They set up a cot for the baby, which made things convenient, and breakfast was included and very good. It’s a good location, with restaurants and pubs nearby. The town centre is 10-15 minutes away by bus. That felt a little far for a town this size, but it was still easy to get there.
