Torland Hotel

We really enjoyed the breakfast, with a choice of a well-cooked full English or a Continental option, and there was a comfortable lounge guests could use. The owner was friendly and helpful throughout, and parking was free at both the front and rear of the hotel. The seafront and harbour are right there, while the town and Paignton steam railway station are about an eight-minute walk away. Our room had a very good, recently refurbished ensuite shower room. Some other rooms have also been refurbished, and the owners intend to redecorate the remaining ones soon. We hope to return before long.

The harbour is close by, and the main shopping area is a short walk away, so the hotel is in a handy spot. Our room was roomy and had what we needed to be comfortable. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, and the cooked food was tasty and generous. The staff were kind and helpful, too. We had a fabulous stay at The Torland and plan to come back.

A small, pleasant hotel almost right on the seafront. The staff were friendly, well trained, and gave excellent service. Our accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well cared for, and breakfast was excellent.

The location made it easy to get to anything we wanted to do, and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. Igor, family & staff were welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful. Breakfast could be full English, cooked extremely well, or Continental. A lovely place for a week's holiday or longer, with free parking.
