The bed was really comfortable, and the room itself was clean, though it needs a bit of care. It felt pricey for what I got. There was no housekeeping, so I had to leave a note asking for a clean towel and the bins to be emptied. Maybe they’re not used to guests staying more than one night. I had tea and coffee facilities and a TV with plenty of regular and app channels. The internet was okay once I moved the modem, and good enough for what I needed.

The place was noisy, the beds were basic at best, and the room smelled of cigarettes. Even the entrance had that old-carpet smell. I wouldn’t go back.

There aren’t any bins or cigarette bins, so residents keep dropping cigarette ends outside the shops and along the hotel frontage and footpath. It makes the area look messy and leaves litter everywhere. I’ve reported it to the council.

Such a comfy bed, and a lovely room in a really nice area. I’d recommend it to anyone looking!

The staff were warm and welcoming, and happy to chat with us when we went outside for a smoke. My fiancé and I stayed last night, and we had a spacious room with a lovely bathroom and comfortable beds. The desk had tea, coffee, cups, a kettle, sugar, and sweeteners, and the TV had all the channels, so we could settle in with a movie. Wonderful hotel, worth every penny. We’ll definitely come back. Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
