Premier Inn Redditch North - A441

The worst part was the lack of fresh air in the room. There were no windows to open, and I woke up with a sore, dry throat. The air conditioning switched itself on and off and was hard to regulate. The floor above was very squeaky, and the shower curtain could do with a proper, frequent wash. Avoid the hotel if you can.

Cheap, clean and comfortable, and I'd definitely go back. The customer service was nice. I had someone in the room above making a lot of noise for a couple of hours during the night, but when I went to the front desk the staff dealt with it quickly, and I could get some sleep. The only downside I'd mention is that there's a lot to do in the area. I'd recommend it for a nice night away.

Premier Inn and the Beefeater next door were both great. Getting to the complex in the rain was the problem: the only route was through a flooded subway, so we ended up making a hazardous walk along and across a major road and roundabout, with no pavements. Whoever on the local council decided pedestrians didn't matter should have to walk that route themselves. I can't give Premier Inn five stars because of the council.

The staff were good and the manageress was lovely, but the passage in the annexe smelled horrendously damp. It was only a one-night stay, so it didn't seem worth making a complaint.
