The team made our visit to the preston brook beefeater feel like much more than an ordinary meal. Everyone was warm and approachable, and they paid attention without hovering. It felt like honest, professional hospitality, never rushed or forced. You can see that the staff take pride in their work, and that seems to come from supportive management. The whole experience was brilliant because of the people there, from the moment we arrived. Huge credit to the team. We'll definitely be back.

The Premier Inn access line is great for enquiries. Travelling with a disability can be really hard, so credit to Premier Inn, especially Runcorn, for making it a little easier. Seeing family matters a lot to us, and we often stay at our favourite Runcorn Premier Inn to be near family in Chester. I can't manage my in-laws' stairs, so we use an accessible room. The bathroom is spacious, clean, and easy to use, which lets us sleep comfortably and wash without difficulty. Sometimes I need a bit more help, and the staff are there for us. We missed our usual night shift pals Pete and Fran this time, but Amy gave me such a lovely welcome when I wasn't feeling great, and lovely Emma, whom we already knew, helped us get the bedding we needed and set things up. My condition makes me sensitive to heat and cold, so we really appreciated having heaters and fans to keep me comfortable. That meant Andy could visit his parents while I rested on my own, since everything was set up so well. I slept really well. We had a picnic breakfast in the room, though sometimes we enjoy a STUNNING Premier Inn breakfast. Thanks!

We were there from Friday 7th of November to Sunday 9th and can't fault the stay. The staff were fantastic and very pleasant, and the room was clean and tidy. It was a little tired, but that was within expectations for what you pay. The beds were comfortable too. I'd definitely stay again.

The room was very spacious this time, and the price was reasonable. As expected of another Premier Inn, it was nice and clean. Breakfast was good, and I liked that the cooked food was made to order rather than taken from a buffet. Check-in was a bit chaotic, so this time I'm giving four stars. The door was locked when we arrived, and it took a while for the receptionist to let us in. He didn't really stick to the point, and after a week's work and a long journey I was tired and wished he'd kept things brief. An arrogant guest arriving at the same time didn't help.

The receptionists get the stars from me. The excellent ladies moved me from the first room, and I feel for them having to work with all this. That room was damp, damp, damp. The heater didn't work and its control box was missing. If they hadn't moved me to a cleaner, non-damp room, I would've demanded my money back and gone elsewhere, even though the location is convenient for where I consult. The second room wasn't nearly as bad and wasn't damp, but the heater had a control box that still didn't work. Rooms keep turning up without proper cleaning, and this one had the basics missed. The table was genuinely sticky, the bath still had gunk and a few hairs from the last victim, and there was an obvious piece of litter near the bed.
