My first review seems to have been removed, lost, or perhaps never posted, so I'm writing it again. On our last night, my two girlfriends and I got back to the hotel late and started packing for an early start the next morning. A man we'd never seen before knocked at our door. He was taller, tanned, had a beard and a walkie-talkie, and barely looked like hotel staff: no name tag, company colors or security badge. When my friend answered, he belittled her for speaking softly and kept cutting her off. He said he had to kick one of us out at 1AM because we were “too loud” and because there were three women in the room, which he said was against policy. We hadn't known about that policy before booking. When we argued and asked what we were supposed to do, he replied, “not my problem”. As three young women traveling in a foreign city, we were mortified, scared and disgusted. He made us line up in our room and promise to be quiet. I work in the service and hotel industry, and this is no way to handle a conflict between guests and staff, wherever the guests are from or staying. He showed little regard or empathy for the possibility of sending young women out onto the streets late at night. We were only trying to pack quickly and settle in for the night when our safety was threatened. I understand we were being loud, but that doesn't mean we should have been made to leave a hotel at 1 in the morning in a foreign city like London. I'm extremely disappointed, distraught and furious about how we were treated. Someone responsible for hotel rules and procedures had many better ways to handle this, and he handled it terribly. Absolutely ridiculous and deplorable. The only redeeming part was a woman at the front desk who was helpful, understanding and kind when we spoke to her at checkout. She was determined to investigate what happened.

The location's perfect, and I'd happily stay here again. Paddington station is just a quick 5-7 minute walk, and the route past the canal is really nice. There are food trucks and a big M&S nearby if you want to pick something up for your day in London. We had a family room on the fourth floor, with a double and two single beds. The staff were excellent. The bathroom was a good size, with a rainfall shower over the bath. Bayliss and Harding shower gels were provided on the wall, but no shampoo or conditioner, so bring your own. There were plenty of towels, though after four of us showered, water was everywhere. Reception gave me two more towels straight away when I asked, and two extra pillows arrived about ten minutes later. The room already had extra pillows, but the kids wanted more. There was a hairdryer too. It did the job, and the girls liked it, though I'm no expert. We only had breakfast at the hotel. It was buffet style, with the usual full English plus pastries, toast, yogurt and fruit, cereal, tea and coffee. There was a good choice. Sunday was busy but we didn't have to wait, and Monday was a bit quieter. The two hostesses were brilliant and really helpful.

I had a great nine-day stay at Premier Inn Paddington, London, and would gladly come back. Check-in was smooth, and Velvan took the time to explain everything clearly and make me feel welcome. Warda, Priya, Jay, and Nejam were consistently courteous, professional and diligent throughout my stay. Their attention to detail made things comfortable and stress-free. The breakfast package was good value, the location was convenient and easy to reach for business or leisure, and the facilities met what I expect from Premier Inn.

The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was decent. It’s handy for Paddington Station, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was fine too. Nothing to complain about, though it didn’t really stand out as a memorable stay.

Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and professional. We were especially grateful they let us arrive early. The rooms were clean and spacious, with the city centre nearby and Paddington Station about a five-minute walk away.
