Premier Inn Sandhurst

The Beefeater next door had a nice atmosphere and background music, though my cappuccino was lukewarm and far too milky for £3.20. The lighting could use improvement there, too. I only gave the restaurant 1/5. In Room 37, the basics were comfortable: a good mattress and pillows, a hot, powerful shower, Baylis & Harding toiletries, tea and coffee, a hairdryer, and plenty of TV channels. It’s a practical double room, but there’s no smart TV, iron and board, air conditioning, or safe. A portable fan was provided. The lighting was particularly difficult for me as I’m partially sighted, and the heating kept switching off and on, which wasn’t great with -1 outside. Room rating: 4/5. The gentleman who checked me in at 15:00 was welcoming, efficient, and professional. He was just as friendly and efficient when I checked out at 12:00. Both times, 5/5. There’s plenty of free parking. The complimentary Wi-Fi was slow and kept dropping out. I paid £61 for the night. My overall 4/5 rating takes the price into account.

The staff were really pleasant and helpful, and the bed was OK. But the room looked very tired, and I wouldn’t stay longer than one night. There’s no lift. I didn’t fancy using the bath shower because it wasn’t inviting, with mould all around the bath. It needs a complete redo.

I stayed here for Coral Reef Waterworld, which is only about 10 minutes away. The hotel was very quiet, with the usual comfortable Premier Inn room, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I also had a hot, tasty breakfast at the Beefeater next door before leaving.

We were all here as a family for a Christening, and everyone loved the stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us. The rooms were great too. Thank you so, so much!
