The Helaina Luxury Apartments

We stayed for two nights, 13th and 14th Feb. The room was clean and pre-warmed, with a comfortable bed, kettle, coffees, teas, biscuits, and a nice clean bathroom. The help-yourself honesty bar with snacks was reasonably priced. We chose breakfast and it was excellent on both days. A lovely stay at a very reasonable rate, with a great, friendly, helpful host. The weather wasn't good when we stayed in an apartment last Thursday and Friday, but it was warm, comfortable, and a pleasant place to be. We've stayed in the bed and breakfast accommodation before too, with the cleanest, comfortable rooms and an amazing breakfast. We'll definitely book again.

The sea view was amazing, and with the windows open we could always hear the sea. We loved the apartment so much that we've already booked for next year. The hosts, Tom & Jill, are wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed three nights in apartment 4. It has two generous bedrooms, a good-sized bathroom with an over-bath shower, and an open-plan lounge and modern kitchen with dining table. The apartment was beautifully decorated, fully equipped with everything we needed, spotlessly clean, and had comfy beds and plenty of storage. There is good street parking on both sides of the road, though it cost £2.50 per day (Aug 25), paid on arrival for a parking permit. The location is handy for a 10-15 minute stoll into town or down to North Bay via the sloping hillside paths. The apartments and B&B next door overlook North Bay.

The cliff-top spot gives you fantastic sea views, and it's an easy walk into town. The well-equipped apartments were very clean and cozy. There's street parking, though it can get busy during peak tourist times.
