The single room, no3, suited me well, with a comfortable bed, good linen and fine tea and coffee facilities. Staff were lovely and friendly, and the stay was excellent value. There was a bit of noise from downstairs, but that's what you expect in a pub. It was good to see the place busy, though some male customers were pretty disgusting, urinating on the wall by the entrance arch instead of going into the pub. Breakfast was okay as a continental, and adequate for what I needed.

The pub food was to die for, and good value too. We were there for a family trip and the hotel rooms were amazing, with excellent beds. Congratulations to everyone on the team. Definitely somewhere to visit and come back to. Well done!

The room was just right, with a clear view of the abbey, and the bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows, which matters on a relatively short visit. I enjoyed staying at the Half Moon. It was an easy walk from both the train station and the Abbey, the reasons for my trip. The staff were friendly and attentive, particularly at breakfast. The restaurant also stood out for its unusually large menu. I'd gladly stay there again.

Half Moon by Marston’s Inns has a handy central spot, friendly staff, comfortable beds and a lively pub feel. The rooms are a bit dated and noise can be an issue, but it was good value for a short stay.
