The location was good, and there was a secure bike shed where we could recharge our e-bikes overnight, which was great. Our room was spacious and newly renovated, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. The continental breakfast was good too. The front room does get some noise from the main road. Overall, a really good stay in Tain.

Check-in was seamless and self-service, and the room was modern, spotless, spacious, and high quality. The towels and bedding were softer than any I've come across. They even have window blinds, which are so rare in Britain. Remarkable value and a really pleasant place to stay.

Street parking is the only option, so there isn't private parking. Still, I had a great stay and would definitely come back. The bed was super comfy, the place felt homely, and the host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good range of continental options. Internet was fast and reliable at 80mb, good for work and streaming.

We were unsure at first because there were only a few reviews, then found out No. 10 had opened in late 2024. It was newly renovated and clean, and the staff were super friendly. As a Hilton loyalist, I reckon some Hilton's could learn a thing or two from No. 10's hospitality and service. We stayed in Tain for our NC500 and booked a tour at the Glenmorangie distillery. Zero regrets staying here. Platform 1864 was also an excellent place for a meal in town.

A really smart guest house with a high-quality, comfortable room. Breakfast wasn't cooked, but it was top quality and there was plenty of it. We stayed the first night of our nc 500, and Platform 1864 nearby was great for dinner. Highly recommend.
