We spent nearly £200 for a family of five, after travelling 120 miles, and it felt like a complete waste. Only when we arrived were we told that most of the “big” rides were shut for maintenance. My two older sons were left with just two rides they could go on all day. Closures like that should be made clear before people buy tickets. The hardest part was how my son with special needs was treated. Rides make him very anxious, and it took a lot of effort to persuade him to try one. We had proof of his disability and authorization for a fast-access, queue-skip band, but the band had come off. Even after we showed staff the paperwork, they wouldn’t let him ride and sent us all the way back to reception to have a replacement fitted. That upset him so much he couldn’t face going back on that ride or trying any others. The lack of empathy and common sense spoiled the day for our whole family. Drayton Manor needs to communicate closures much better and train staff to support guests with hidden disabilities. We won’t be coming back.

Grace was our server, I think, and she made my daughter feel incredibly special on her sixth birthday. She was warm, kind, and so attentive. Thank you, Grace. Two adults were very happy with the experience too. The restaurant was excellent, and honestly you should double whatever you pay the restaurant team because they were the absolute best. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the front desk team were efficient, polite, and kind. Thank you, Drayton Manor Hotel.

Everything ran like clockwork, and I’m still in awe of what a wonderful day it was. My daughter chose this hotel for her wedding venue, and the staff went above and beyond to make it the happiest day for her and her bride. Thanks to everyone involved for all the kindness and good wishes. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone considering holding their wedding here.

Nothing bad to say about the stay. They could improve the gluten-free and dairy-free options, though. I gave four stars because I’ve had outstanding stays elsewhere.

The outdoor play area was a nice bonus, with slides, climbing frames, and swings for both little and bigger kids. It’s a nice hotel very close to Drayton Manor, handy for a quick break between theme park days. The rooms are spacious and clean, though there’s some wear around the edges, which is expected with so many guests coming through. Staff were lovely and really helpful. We liked the restaurant. They were very good with allergies, and the food was fresh with good-sized portions, though evening service was a little slow. Breakfast was busy, but they kept the buffet stocked.
