There’s no receptionist as such, it’s self-service, and there isn’t a bar. That didn’t stop this being a great hotel in my opinion. The rooms were very clean, with fresh linens and towels, no dust, and a TV. The bathrooms had brilliant hot water pressure, which you don’t often get in hotels these days. It’s about as central as you can get in Taunton, with the Motorway only minutes away and amenities right outside. The car park is safe and has plenty of space. I’d have liked a small desk and chair in the room, and there was no plug in the bathroom sink, but those were my only two niggles. I’ve already booked again for a business stay next month. I’d recommend this venue 100%.

We stayed here for a couple of days in early April while visiting Great Yarmouth. It was a lovely bed and breakfast, with a clean, comfortable room. Breakfast came with the room and was delicious, with a range of breakfast bars, including Italian ones, plus teas, coffee, cereal and fruit. The man working at the hotel was lovely and very helpful. The road was busy and parking would have been hard to find, so it was a big help that he saved us a space outside.

A great find for a boutique hotel, right in the heart of Taunton town centre. The rooms are spacious and modern, and there’s a large free car park, which was ideal for us. It’s also in a great spot for all the shops and bars.

I was here for work and had a good stay. The room was spacious and comfortable enough, and it was close to town and other amenities. Check-in and check-out were self-service. No complaints.

My booking was cancelled and nobody told me. There was nobody on site, and I understand you have to text to get the codes for the door and the key. I stayed here when it was a proper hotel and it was lovely. I won’t be back.
