I tried the lasagna on one visit and the burger on the other, and both were full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The drinks were great too, especially the cocktail and fruity gins served in a lovely gin glass. You can tell there’s care in both the food and service. I came to this family-run restaurant twice during a weekend away, and it became one of the trip’s highlights. Everyone was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Service was quick and efficient without making me feel rushed, and the restaurant was spotless. I’d happily recommend it for the food, service and genuine atmosphere, and I’ll return if I’m in the area.

The breakfast was excellent, with generous portions for a good price and great service. The room was lovely, beautifully decorated, and came generously supplied with everything you need. The beds were really comfortable too. Amazing value for money, and I’ll definitely be back. Thank you 😊

I stopped here halfway through a drive home and wasn’t disappointed. The rooms were spacious and had everything I needed, and the pub food was good too. Service was great. I’d recommend staying here.

We stayed at The Willow House while visiting family. The rooms were clean and warm, with lots of little extras, and breakfast was lovely. The location was great, there was plenty of parking, and the staff were very friendly with excellent service. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The mattress was very comfortable and the room stayed at a pleasant temperature. There was a fan and heater available too. During my two-night stay, the Wi-Fi was reliable, breakfast supplies were replenished, and the dirty dishes and cups were replaced. The continental breakfast had a good variety, including cereal, cookies, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, jam, butter, sliced bread and fruit juice. A mini fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle made the stay more comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom seemed newly refurbished, with hot running water and good ventilation. The pub in front of the rooms also seemed nice, with a good menu and plenty of local appreciation. The bungalow room was nice and the key access felt safe, but the area felt dodgy. I also took a star off because the chair cushion covers and carpet weren’t very clean. The bedding, pillowcases and towels were fine.
