Holiday Inn London Watford Junction

The soundproofing was good enough that I rested properly despite the hotel being near the station. Getting in and out of London was easy too, since Holiday Inn Watford Junction is only a short walk away. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a great bed and a shower that worked perfectly. Staff were friendly and efficient throughout, and check-in was quick. They answered my questions clearly and politely. Breakfast was well organised with a decent selection, and the common areas were tidy and pleasant to sit in. A smooth, comfortable stay from start to finish. I’d happily come back and recommend it as a reliable base near Watford Junction.

The lobby is spacious and comfortable, with a wide selection of food and drinks. Breakfast was very complete, and allergens were clearly listed, which was useful as a vegan. The amenities felt like those at 4 star hotels, including body lotion in the bathroom. It’s a beautiful, modern hotel with friendly staff and good quality rooms. It’s practical for the airport or the Warner bros harry potter, with direct buses from Watford junction station less than 5 minutes away. There’s also a supermarket nearby and a nice coffee shop. The room was very cold both nights. When we arrived, the window was open, so we thought that explained it, but the next night was the same and the kids were freezing. The fan made an awful noise and didn’t heat the room at all. Staff at dinner and breakfast were friendly, and breakfast was nice, though we preferred not to have it on the second morning. Room 101 definitely needs attention. I wouldn’t stay here again.

It’s a great location, about a three-minute walk from the train station, and the staff were great at sorting out our issues. I asked if they could arrange a birthday celebration for my father. Ms. Afsaneh and the lovely man who let us into breakfast, whose name I sadly can’t remember, helped me do it on the spot.
