Bill made the stay especially easy, answering questions quickly and helping us with the car when it wouldn't start as we were leaving. We were in the attic room, which was lovely in all the details and had a pleasant morning view over the abbey. Prices seemed very good too. Thanks for a great stay, we'd definitely recommend it and hope to come back.

The home-cooked breakfast was lovely, and there was free street parking. We found the room clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with a comfy bed. The hosts gave us a really warm welcome and were friendly and helpful. It's in a quiet neighbourhood and an excellent location. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was outstanding, and the rooms were spotless with everything provided. The staff were lovely and the service excellent. Bill made a point of getting to know his guests, which was nice. I'd definitely stay here again.

Room 8, up in the attic, felt calm and welcoming, with tea and coffee facilities and free Netflix. The little things stood out too, like umbrellas by the entrance to borrow, and the service was excellent. Bill, Jo and Sarah really went out of their way for us. Breakfast was lovely, high quality, and served in a restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Argyle House is just above The Royal Crescent, with easy walks towards Whitby Harbour in either direction. We stayed three nights and would definitely recommend it.

Once we found a space close by, we left the car where it was, since parking is on the street and spaces are limited. Permits are provided. It was half term and busy, though we were lucky to get a spot. Luckily, everything in the main part of town is an easy walk from here. We stayed last week: the room was clean and just right for a couple of nights, the owner was super friendly, and breakfast was amazing, made with locally sourced food.
