I left feeling relaxed and well looked after, and can't recommend the place enough. Jackie and Rob were welcoming, engaging, informative and helpful, a fantastic team. My room looked out over a beautiful garden, and there was wine and cake waiting for me on both days. There was plenty of tea and coffee to choose from. Breakfast was plentiful and beautifully presented: smoked salmon both mornings, plus fruit salad and croissants with homemade jam. I booked because I wanted to be near David Austin Roses, just 15 minutes away. Such a pretty, peaceful spot. Thank you so much, Jackie and Rob x

Jackie and Rob gave us the warmest welcome when we arrived. The village setting was beautiful, with amazing views on the way up to the cottage. We had a perfect, relaxing stay. Thank you.

Jackie and Rob are lovely hosts, and we were very comfortable in the thoughtfully prepared room. It's small, as you'd expect in a cottage, but cosy. The village is quiet, and it's roughly a mile along a bridleway to the local pub for dinner. The full English breakfast is well worth buying. The local bacon and sausage were superb, and the eggs were cooked perfectly.

The couple who run the place were incredibly helpful to me as a man travelling alone by bicycle. They let me store the bike and even drove me to the next village to pick up supplies, since I got there after the local shop had closed. Stay here, they're lovely ❤️

We were made to feel very welcome, and the hospitality was fantastic. The spacious room had everything you'd need, and the host got up very early the next morning to cook a delicious breakfast using locally sourced ingredients. Thanks for having us!
