I only planned to stay for the weekend, but cancelled the second night. The room I reserved wasn't available, and nobody told me before putting me in an ADA room with two queen beds when I only needed a king. I wasn't too upset about the change until I saw the bathroom. It was filthy and covered in mold. If I could find another place at a reasonable price, I'd leave right now. The rate I paid makes this condition even harder to accept. Please check the room and tell customers when their reservation changes. I'd like at least a partial refund. I feel gross staying in such a dirty room.

We arrived at 1 a.m. and felt safe in the parking lot and the surrounding area. The lobby and facilities were clearly well maintained, and the staff were warm and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean, and smelled nice. There was some highway noise, but nothing out of the ordinary. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and everything was as expected. Complimentary breakfast was a plus. A great place to crash for the night, and we'll likely return on this road trip.

Four girls and two dogs, road-tripping through a state we'd never visited, just needed an affordable and safe place for a night. This was super cute and chic, with lovely staff and an easy check-in and checkout. It's close to the freeway, too. You can tell the building and rooms are old, but the staff work hard to keep them clean. It's dog friendly, and breakfast is free from 6 to 9, with Texas-shaped waffles that were so good. Thanks for a great stay!

There were several events happening around the property, so I worried it might be loud. Once we got to the room, though, it was quiet and we rested well. The room was nice and clean, breakfast was great, and the staff were super friendly. It was a great experience, and we'll look at staying here again.

The location is reasonable, and breakfast was alright. The waffle machine was good, as usual at hotels, and the biscuits and gravy were really good. But the coffee, juice, and cereal area was unsanitary on both mornings I went, since guests and early-shift workers hadn't cleaned up after themselves. I won't stay again. When I returned to Amarillo on Sunday, the first double room was dirty, with stained floors, questionable sheets, pillowcases that looked like someone had walked on them, and a vanity light that didn't work. The front desk representative was kind and moved me to a handicapped room, but that wasn't much better. The shower, toilet, mirrors, and bathroom floors were dirty, and every towel was stained. The shower handle was nearly broken off, and the main showerhead had very poor pressure. There was no microwave at first, but one appeared the next day while I was at work, despite my Do Not Disturb sign and personal things being out. The sheets still didn't seem clean, the pillows were uncomfortable, and it felt like something was crawling on me, so I couldn't sleep well. I had planned to extend my stay, but checked out after seeing a huge roach on the wall that morning. The day before, there had been a white spider on the headboard. From the pictures and videos, you can see how awful the shower looked. I'm not sure if the renovated front middle rooms are in better shape and work is still needed on the back outer rooms, but I had enough.
