Check-out at noon was a real plus for us. That extra hour is nice when you’re traveling. We had a great stay overall, and the rooms were clean, with none of the ants or hair mentioned in other reviews. The only issue we ran into was that there were no towels by the pool. Our room was close by, so we went back for some. Sorry about the wet carpet! Staff were unusually warm and friendly at both check-in and check-out, not the robotic, scripted kind of welcome you get at a lot of hotels. I tend to read the harsh reviews before writing my own, partly out of curiosity and partly to see whether the concerns match what I find. Reviews reflect one person's experience, and things like traffic or the kind of day someone’s having can affect it. That doesn’t mean hotel stays can’t be bad, because we’ve had those too. I appreciate honest reviews, both positive and negative, and businesses can bring in more people by addressing the issues guests raise.

The hotel looks dated from outside, but my room was nice. The bed and couch were comfortable, and it had two large TVs, free internet, and HBO with several channels. There’s a pool and an exercise room.

The front desk staff were polite, and we enjoyed the breakfast. The location worked well for us. The only problem was that the refrigerator stopped working and our food spoiled.

The hallway has an old, moldy smell, and the elevator sounded as if it might stall or break down soon. Those were my main concerns. Otherwise, things were decent: the room was fairly clean, nothing was broken, parking and continental breakfast were free, and check-in was easy. I booked through Expedia.

The rooms were fine and the hotel was average, though it’s starting to look its age. The elevator sign says quiet hours are 10-6 with no exceptions, which makes you wonder if they’ve had noise problems. It also says housekeeping is by request. We stayed three nights and had no service on the first day, as expected, but housekeeping came on the second day. That was fine, but I wish I’d known so I could leave a tip. Breakfast was okay, except the powdered scrambled eggs were especially bad that day.
