Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Memphis Arlington

The room had a desk, but it sat right in front of the big TV, and we were across the hall from the laundry room, where the door slammed at all hours. There’s no business center either, though I found the main dining area relaxing enough for remote work. We were here during the recent freeze because we worried our neighborhood might lose power and heat. The staff were hospitable and made sure our requests were handled. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was well prepared each morning. We’d stay again, hopefully next time without needing emergency heat.

My family and I found this hotel while in town for my grandmother’s funeral. Cohen at the front desk was such a delight, and the service was amazing. The beds were the fluffiest I’ve ever slept on, breakfast was great, and the atmosphere felt calm and surprisingly luxurious. If I return to Memphis, I’d book this place over the others.

Every team member we met was personable, kind, and helpful, which made a difficult trip much more pleasant. I was in Tennessee around mid December for my brother’s funeral. After a nine hour drive against the wind, Evelyn greeted us promptly and offered complimentary water and a snack. I’d spoken with Jessica by phone when I had trouble navigating the website, and she’d been extremely helpful, kind, and professional. Meeting her the next morning was just as nice. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone in the area and would gladly stay again.

Changing my booking by phone was quick and painless. Jessica was extremely polite and capable, and we had everything sorted in under ten minutes. I’m glad I could speak to a real person without working through a maze of recorded messages. It was such a relief to get an easy solution. Thanks for the excellent customer service.
