The staff were friendly, polite, and always smiled, and the location is convenient to the main freeway and places to eat just down the street. From a distance, the place looked like it had been made over and seemed nice. Up close, the rooms were still dirty and poorly maintained, with cosmetic fixes that felt like lipstick on a pig. The bathroom corners and shower grout looked dirty, and there were dirty walls and dust on all the ceiling decor and HVAC. Staff were nice to talk to, but it seemed like issues and work orders weren’t communicated. I found out before using my card that the bedroom door didn’t latch or lock. I mentioned it that night and used the safety latch. The next morning I told the desk, but the person there didn’t seem to know about it. Later, someone else got confirmation from maintenance, but when I tested the door it still pushed open and wouldn’t lock. I asked for another room. That room locked, but still looked unkept, especially the walls and shower. At a distance it looked nice, but close up it was just okay.

The price is quite good for a nice hotel, and the visible wear in some parts of the rooms seems reflected in the lower ppn. Other nearby extended stays by Hilton cost 30-40$ or more extra per night and don’t show the same wear. The king room is VERY spacious, and the patio has tons of seating. I asked someone to turn on the fire pit so we could use it, but nobody ever showed up. :(

I’ve stayed here repeatedly for work when I’m in the area, and it’s usually been alright. This time, management said I needed to move because of ongoing renovations. I tried to switch as soon as the note appeared on my door, since I had food in the fridge that needed to stay cold. They sent me back to the same room and promised to move my packed things to another room the next day while I was at work. They also let me pick something free from the marketplace as consolation. I packed as asked, and they did move everything, including my food, but left the refrigerated and frozen items sitting out all day in the new room. I came back to a pile of spoiled food. That was what I cared about, since my company pays for the room and the food came out of my own pocket. They wasted my time and money and lost a customer.

The staff were very friendly, and there are outdoor BBQ facilities. The kitchen is there, but the utensils and frypan were close to useless. It was a small SS frypan, and I spent more time scraping off stuck food than cooking. Breakfast was average, with scrambled eggs that were probably made from powdered egg mix. Fresh fried or poached eggs would be nice.

This was a great stay, and I’d come back. The hotel is clean, smells nice, has wonderful customer service, comfortable beds, good water pressure, and a great location with lots nearby. The downsides were that there’s no hot tub, the grill lighting switch was out so the grills couldn’t be used, and the hotel lighters were out of fluid. We tried the stove top in our suite instead, but that wasn’t working either, so we used the microwave.
