Keira at the front desk really made my stay at Downtown Inn & Suites in Asheville. I had a special request, and she was kind, attentive, and went out of her way to help. She was professional, but you could also tell she truly cared about making things better. I hope management knows what an asset she is. The room was clean, roomy, and comfortable, with plenty of fresh towels, a cozy bed, and soft, clean sheets and pillows. I also appreciated the pet policy: dogs of any breed can be left unattended for an extra $15 a night, which made traveling with my dog much easier. I’d definitely return. It was a comfortable stay with service that stood out.

It’s handy for downtown events, and everything is within walking distance. My fiancé and I had a great stay, and the receptionists were great overall. The exception was Anna the blonde headed women. She was rude, wouldn’t answer my questions, and made smart remarks when she did.

This is my usual spot when I’m in Asheville. I’ve stayed several times, and the rooms are clean, the service and hospitality are lovely, and the staff are really friendly. The front desk girl is fine as, and check-in is chill. Parking is easy, free, and secure. It’s a great downtown hotel, with most things an easy walk away. 5/5.

My room faced the mountains, which was a great thing to wake up to. It was fairly priced, with no frills or unnecessary amenities tacked on. I also felt safer here than I have at any other motel, thanks to the security measures. The location is ideal, with all the important Asheville venues within walking distance.

The pool wasn’t working, but everything else about The Downtown Inn was excellent. I came for the March 19, 2026 Steven Curtis Chapman concert at Thomas Wolfe auditorium and needed a room for the night. After searching PRICELINE carefully, I found this 3 star hotel about three blocks from Thomas wolfe. Keira greeted me at the front desk and was courteous, professional, and respectful. The rest of the staff were fantastic too, the rooms were very nice, and breakfast was very good. I strongly recommend the Downtown Inn. Frank from Tennessee.
