The shower had no hot water, toilet paper was missing, and there were bugs in my room. The only electronics that worked were the AC and TV, not even the bedside lamps. I’d spend an extra $50-60 to stay somewhere else and avoid this. I booked on short notice for a brief stay, thinking the price was good, and the photos and listing on Booking looked promising, but the actual place was completely different.

The room had decent space, a working TV, and good water pressure. In our room, at least, the water was warm. The front desk gave me fresh sheets and a pillow when I asked, which helped since the original sheets were questionable and we had only one and a half pillows, literally. There was a bed and some random furniture. We were driving from NYC to Texas, stopped in Atlanta halfway, and wanted to visit the aquarium, so we chose the cheaper place, if you can call it accommodation. At first glance, the building looked abandoned, like squatters had taken it over to make extra cash. A sign by the parking lot said they weren’t liable for theft, which didn’t exactly reassure me. I’d only book it to sleep for a few hours. Otherwise it’s a “blind box” motel, you don’t know what you’ll get. Seeing other guests checking their cars through the hallway windows made me worry about our rental car.

The photos will fool you. The hallway smelled and clearly hadn’t been vacuumed, the walls and doors were filthy, and our room felt like a prison cell with queen beds. I read a review about bed bugs and booked somewhere else right away. The walls were thin too, so I could hear babies crying across the hall and adults yelling back and forth. The lobby was empty, and the check-in desk looked like a place to buy lottery tickets. The Wi-Fi and TV didn’t work, the remote was missing its back, and the room smelled of cigarettes. There was mold in the shower. When I tried to get a refund, the man said refunds were only allowed within 15 minutes of checking in. Terrible hotel. It might be cheap, but you get what you paid for. DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE!!

I can’t find one positive thing to say about this. There were no trash cans or blankets, and the sheets were dirty. Cobwebs, food on the floor, dirty walls and baseboards, and poop on the bathroom floor. I don’t think housekeeping is on duty, and management doesn’t seem to care at all. I can’t believe this is legal. Someone needs to get control of the place. It’s just disrespectful.
