For this price, you know what you’re getting, and the staff were kind and helpful. A lot of the other guests were friendly too, and many seemed to live there long-term. The room was clean, the fridge and AC worked, and the water was hot. There are some issues: the AC is deafening, the chain lock doesn’t work, and the door only opens if you pull the handle up. It’s not the Ritz, but those basics were in order.

The rooms are clean and they keep things looking good. It’s a decent, comfortable place to sleep for the night at this price. It’s not the Taj Mahal or the nicest place in the world, but for the money, it’s good.

The motel’s set a little back from the busy street, almost hidden, which made us feel somewhat safer. The woman who checked us in seemed friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was fairly clean, though the bathtub wasn’t. It also looked like something from the fifties or sixties and badly needs remodeling. The remote was so sticky that toilet paper stuck to it when I tried to pick it up, which left me wondering how clean the bed really was. I didn’t try any further.

I spent two nights here and found the inside roomy and clean, even though the place doesn’t look like much from outside. For the price, it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. I’d recommend it if you’re on a budget.
