Rodeway Inn

I've been here about a month, and it's been great for the price and the area. It's close to everything. The manager is respectful and very nice, and made me feel comfortable staying here. Staff are friendly and attentive, too. When I was missing a few things in my room, they got them for me right away. Thank you :)

This is the closest hotel to my job site, and thankfully it's also the nicest. I've been coming here for about five months, and the rooms are spotless. The staff, management, and maid staff have all been great and accommodating. Trinity checked me in on my first night here and was as kind as could be. It's a 10-minute scooter ride to the river and downtown, too. 10/10 experience and location.

I come to Austin every couple of months and stay here because the location and price are hard to beat. Inflation has pushed motel prices up everywhere, but this place is still reasonably priced if you book online. Trinidy at the front desk is there every time and is lovely with me and my kids. I also think the new manager is better than the previous one. The maids speak Spanish, but they're kind and reliable, and the maintenance man is sweet and usually fixes any issue in under 10 minutes. The overnight security guard makes me feel safe. I've seen her checking that people who shouldn't be there aren't around. Another 10/10 stay.

The washers and dryers are the one real drawback, so if you need to use them, keep that in mind. Otherwise, I can't find much to complain about. I've stayed here 30 days and never saw anything crazy, so I'm not sure security is needed, but I'm glad it's there. Plenty of pricier hotels don't even have that these days. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the manager was great. There are improvements happening, no bugs, and most staff are very friendly. Honestly, this is the best Motel 6 I've stayed at.
