The Reserve At Cedar Lodge

The covered parking garage is a real plus. No more getting into a hot car or walking through soaking rain to reach it. With the gated property, the place feels safe and secure, and the azaleas in bloom made the beautiful landscaping especially striking. This is the quietest, most peaceful apartment I’ve stayed in, completely different from other apartments I’ve experienced. I’d recommend it to anyone traveling to Baton Rouge who needs a nice place to stay.

They have a great staff, and this place has everything.

The west-facing windows on my third-floor unit are a challenge during a heat wave, and the AC is doing all it can. That’s why I’m giving it four stars. The property feels safe, and the grounds and buildings are well maintained. Maintenance responds quickly, and both the office staff and call center are friendly and professional. Fully furnished units are available, with shopping and restaurants close by.

It took me a LONG time to find a quiet place with all the amenities I wanted, and I absolutely love it here. You never hear the trash trucks since they come by in the late morning, which is so nice. The office staff are super nice, the pool is great, and the parking garage is a great touch. My one small concern is the water and sewer charge, around $60. That seems VERY high, but I’m more than willing to pay it for a quiet place.
