The room smelled strongly of cat urine when we came back from visiting family. I went to the front desk, where the staff were busy watching videos on a computer and didn't seem to understand me until I said, “YOUR ROOM SMELLS LIKE CAT PISS.” After about 30 minutes of arguing, they moved us. We stay here whenever we come down, but now we'll take our business to the Super 8. Don't stay here unless you really have to. Earlier, at check-in on 1-17-25, the woman at the desk was rude and had no customer service manners. When she asked how many guests, I said two adults and two kids under 10. She just looked at me, then got an attitude and said the children weren't on the reservation. I explained they stay free because they're under 10. I also mentioned that on our last stay there was no screen on the window, so I passed our things out to my husband. She yelled that they don't allow that and we shouldn't do it again because things get stolen. I asked if she was calling me a thief; she said no, but I felt she was. She tried to put us on the top floor. I said I have a disabled mom and two kids, and unless she was going to carry my 28 lb daughter, who doesn't walk, up and down those stairs, I needed a main-floor room. At checkout, she charged the card on file without asking if I wanted her to run it. Thankfully, that was fine. Then my mom put some of our things in the room and we left to visit family, only to return to that awful smell.

The bedroom was clean, but the bathroom wasn't. There was mold above the shower and around the toilet seal. I get not providing coffee in the room, but having no cups or ice bucket was strange.

Glad we only had to stay one night. The room was filthy: hair covered the fitted sheets on both beds, and every pillow was stained, including one with what looked like blood. The sink was completely dirty, and the bathroom door had a split bottom, as if it had been kicked in.

The sheets were clean, the people were nice, and the place is right off the highway. But at $30 a night, you get what you pay for. The hallway smelled like a barnyard, the room like a wet dog, and the water like sulfur. There was other people's hair in both the shower and sink.

There was no elevator, so as a person with a disability I had to take the stairs. The bathroom door wouldn't close, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling, the AC didn't work, and the toilet seemed made for potty training. On my way out to get breakfast, I saw a roach run across a hallway door. I packed up and checked out, then ate elsewhere. This isn't handicap friendly. I'd asked for a single room, but they didn't have one, so I paid for a double.
