The place looked nice at a glance, but it was clearly cosmetic, the bed was stiff and cheap, and there was mold and mildew on the shower curtain. I’m still thinking about reporting it to the Better Business Bureau and Health Department. Getting the key was a mess too. My email said it would be in a lockbox, but it was actually with the neighboring company’s concierge. This had apparently been the arrangement for weeks, so the email was simply false. The trouble started when I asked for a refund seconds after seeing the $100 cleaning fee. Their “strict” policy refused it, which usually makes me think a company is crooked. Do not book this as a hotel. I arrived in Boston during a snowstorm and the room wasn’t worth the money.

We could hear all the street noise through the walls, from cars to people, while trying to sleep. It made the nights unpleasant, especially for my sons. After paying a good bit for the apartment, I asked for some of the cost back because the walls weren’t soundproof. Management took weeks to review my case and offered a discount on a future stay. I told them I had no desire to stay with them again after how badly they handled it. Poor customer focus, and I wouldn’t recommend them. I stayed at the One Greenway Tower off Kneeland Street.

We were booked into an apartment for three nights through Expedia. The lockbox accepted the correct code, but there was no key inside, and customer service couldn’t find anyone who had one. We spent three hours locked out in the rain and had to pay for that night. Expedia could only promise a refund for the nights we didn’t use. Neither Global nor Expedia earned any customer care points tonight. I hear Travelocity responds better.

You have to give a star to post, but I’d leave a negative one if I could. They take your money under fraudulent terms, and customer service is nonexistent. This business is a fraud. Stay away if you can.
