That bed was unbelievably comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. We've had bad hotel bed experiences before, so my partner researched carefully and booked the Salem Court King Suite. We slept well every morning, which made a big difference for exploring town. The ladies were always friendly, smiling, and ready with answers or suggestions to help plan our trip. The suite itself was lovely. The wood floors creaked, but I could appreciate that as part of the historic building. Breakfast supplies were replenished nicely, including water, pastries, yogurt, coffee, orange juice, milk, cereal, chips, and cookies. There was a good range of snacks, and Whole Foods was two short blocks away for something warm, with plenty of delivery choices too. We were only a few blocks from Bunker Hill Monument, so we could start the Freedom Trail backwards and follow the red brick. I had a great time and really enjoyed the stay.

For a Boston trip, we chose Moroccan Luxury Suites instead of the usual hotel, and as someone who travels for business and works as a travel agent, I stay in plenty of hotels. This was a great choice. The staff were welcoming from arrival through goodbye and always available when we had questions. Our second-floor suite felt like a room from Boston's past, not a “Moroccan” themed room. I grew up in the Boston area, and the antique furniture and decor felt like home. There were two big rooms and a spacious bathroom. The bedroom had lots of room for luggage and clothes, and the bed was so comfortable my wife bought the same bedding when we got home. We liked relaxing in the living room with its book cases, hardwood floor, and comfortable furniture. It had a refrigerator stocked with fresh OJ and yogurt, and breakfast pastries sat by the coffee pot. It wasn't a full breakfast, but the continental breakfast was a very good start to the day. The “T” was within walking distance and made getting into town easy. Driving to the B&B is less appealing: parking is nearby but a hassle, and keeping your car in the garage means paying for the full day. I'd give it 10 out of 10. It's less expansive than a Boston area hotel, with much larger, more personal accommodations, and the staff make a real difference.

Elizabeth was lovely and paid attention to all the little details. Our suite felt cozy and nicely decorated, and for a bed and breakfast we had plenty of privacy, with our own bathroom and a kitchen stocked each day with fresh, quality food. The bed was even comfier than ours at home, with the softest sheets. Such a wonderful stay.

The “silk room” was decorated in extraordinary detail, from the floor all the way to the ceiling. Its materials felt fit for a palace, with solid marble bathroom floors and shower surround, a stone sink, top-end appliances, and real, substantial furnishings designed with the heart of Morocco. The house and owner are top quality, and the cleanliness and service felt genuine and thorough. This Victorian home in Charleston mass is surrounded by history, and it clearly reflects Elizabeth's love and passion. The patterns and textures were so striking I couldn't fall asleep right away, like being on a 1970’s acid trip. Five stars, no hesitation.

I loved the privacy and atmosphere of the Moroccan suite, with its beautiful decor and luxurious linens. It felt like going somewhere far away without spending time traveling. There's a small but very functional galley kitchen for food you bring, and hundreds of restaurants deliver if you'd rather stay in. The neighborhood is charming, with cafes, restaurants, and little shops nearby. Bunker Hill monument is a quick walk, and the T station is a quarter mile away. It's also easy to walk into the city or use the BlueBikes for rent. The owner is pleasant and knows a lot about the Moroccan furnishings and the local area.
