Nova Inn Resort

The rooms are nice, with two full beds and a pullout couch in the living area, and there’s a pool. The kitchenette is handy, though it only has a skillet for cooking and a small camper-size fridge. The showers barely get hot, and it’s a little pricey, but at least there aren’t bugs.

Parking was easy, the staff were friendly, and there’s free coffee in the lobby. The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds, though the pillows were lumpy. WiFi was terrible, and neither of the two TVs worked because they needed an internet connection. I didn’t use the pool, but the area looked lovely. There are lots of amenities nearby.

The advertised free WiFi never worked, and their only fix was to offer me an upstairs room. I explained that I have a disability and can’t walk upstairs, but they wouldn’t give me a discount. I missed a full day of work, and the customer service wasn’t friendly. They violated the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The room was clean and the parking lot was spacious, but the spot where I parked was poorly lit and had some broken cars. I had a disappointing stay because the WiFi and both the smart and cable TV didn’t work, the sink in the bathroom only had hot water, and there was no phone in the room. Since it was late, I messaged the front desk through Expedia about the service problems. I was also charged a $50 deposit that wasn’t listed on Expedia. When I checked out, they kept the money, saying they needed to inspect the room but couldn’t do it right away. I don’t think I should be responsible for anything after I’ve checked out, and I wasn’t given a refund at the time. Watch out for hidden fees. Later, the hotel manager contacted me, understood the problems, and refunded me. I appreciated the call, his helpfulness, and his effort to sort things out. I think they deserve another chance. If I’m in the area again, I’ll stay at Nova Inn. Thank you!
